Contest Details

The members have spoken and requested the next contest be flash fiction. You also requested there be no theme to limit your creativity. So, this contest is simple to understand: write a piece of flash fiction on any topic you choose!


1. You must be a member of LITplease to participate.
2. Your story must be more than 100 words but no more than 1000 words and you can submit only one entry.
3. Your story must have a beginning, middle, and an end. A short plot line does not have to be poorly developed.
4. Your main character(s) must be round (ie. show some change from beginning to end).
5. You must submit your deviation to the Flash Fiction contest folder no later than February 29th at 10pm EST.
6. You can write your story on any topic and use any theme, but it must be a new deviation submitted on February 1st, 2012 or later.
